Ever sit and wonder about the differences between people?  Its amazing to me that there can be so many different combinations of character, personality, physical physique, and mannerisms.  Why is it that we naturally pick which ones we think are better, and then rate that person accordingly?  I'll be the first to admit that sometimes I am a culprit of this very thing.  Jeff and I were just talking about this the other day.  A pretty person could walk into an office or building and apply for a job that they are way underqualified for and probably get hired on the spot.  Whereas someone that may just look like an ordinary person would have to prove themselves first.  I don't think thats right, and then again I can understand it.  Its very important to have someone in your company that can represent your company in the way you see fit.  Maybe I'm just feeling a little sympathetic for the people out there that have to deal with the rejection of being different.  I think its important to embrace yourself, the confidence in that has got to be good for something.

Why does the work week consist of 5 working days, 8 hours a day?
I am all for a 4 day work week, 10 hours a day or a 9 hour work day with every other Friday off.  Two days on the weekend is just not enough time to get anything done or feel rested, and I already feel like I'm working 10 hours a day anyway.  With a 3 day weekend, I may begin to start feeling as if I'm NOT putting all my time into my job.  My schedule, however, does allow me to watch House on Tuesday nights.  If you haven't seen it, you need to.  Its an awesome drama about a cold and unsympathetic doctor (somtimes showing a softer side) who is really good at figuring out really hard medical mysteries.  I love the fact that it has a CSI twist and always keeps you guessing.

Well, lunch is just about over...back to the daily grind.  If only there were no such thing as bills. Yeah right, how else would you regulate comsumption? Later

If any of you readers out there (I'm sure there are hundreds) are wondering...."Why Somer lovin'?", I'll tell you.  I totally love the movie Grease, and I can practically sing and quote the whole movie by heart.  I know that might sound cheesy to some of you, but hey...I'm not you. My husband doesn't seem to mind. *props to you babe*

I would also say that the title of my blog also represents a bit of who I am.  I'm not trying to be mushy or anything, but I truly believe that if we have not love, we lack something seriously powerful.  When we love someone or something beyond what we think or feel, we not only show respect, but we learn self sacrifice.  Its been my experience recently that you can truly feel fulfilled and content at a moment when you stop thinking of yourself and instead, give of yourself.  This can take on many forms, but they will all yeild the same result....Peace.

This is my first-ever-brand-new-I really can't believe I'm gonna find the time to take care of it-blog!!!    I've thought about starting one for a while and my loving husband has finally persuaded and helped me to get it going.   From this point on, it will be an adventure.
